How can we assist you with matching the sit-stand desk options with your specific needs?
More information on your actual workstation/s can assist us with better matching the sit-stand desk options with your specific needs. Aspects that can make a difference include:
- The use of a laptop vs a desktop
- How many screens are used as well as the size of the screens
- If you need any space for writing of keeping documents.
We have found that a photo or two of your workstation can assist us in forming a better idea of the space, your requirements and the options that could work best for you. If you can send a few photos of your workstation, it is normally a great help.
We do have freestanding desks in our product range but have found that these are generally only really considered with new offices or total revamps. On-desk solutions are often the easiest and most cost effective alternative to implement sit-stand desks. We have also found (and research confirms this), that the ease of changing between sitting and standing is a critical factor to ensure continued use of these products.
You are interested in standing desks and products for your office. Are we limited to offering you one specific product/range, or do we have options?
We offer a range of products and brands to enable us to fit the customer’s specific needs with the best product available – and not just the best option within a specific brand. In doing this, we are also able to provide products covering a wide price range – as budget is often an important consideration.

What is Memory Foam?
Memory foam was originally developed by NASA to ease the pressure of extreme G-Force during space shuttle take off. While memory foam was never used in the space program, it was subsequently used in medical applications. Its most common domestic applications are mattresses, pillows and mattress toppers (also known as mattress pads). It remains useful in medical-related applications, such as wheelchair seat cushions, hospital bed pillows, and padding for persons suffering long-term pain or postural problems; for example, a memory foam cervical pillow may alleviate chronic neck pain. Its heat-retaining properties are also helpful to some pain sufferers, who find the added warmth also helps alleviate pain.
The hardness or softness of memory foam plays an important role in ensuring comfort. Unlike other types of polyurethane foam, memory foam has the ability to change firmness with temperature (it becomes firmer when colder and softer when warmer).
